I felt like I needed a little challenge this year and with a little push from my bestie I’ve been experimenting with film this Winter. Even though I’m only loving a few frames from each roll of film I shoot I’m completely in LOVE! It’s been fun, challenging and discouraging at times!! I started out using my dad’s old 35mm (a Canon FTB) and I have loved shooting with it…the images from that camera are lovely (imo). Now that I “think” I’ve got the hang of it I’m going to move along and shoot some medium format film next month.
Manually shooting and advancing film while shooting a moving toddler is insane btw 🙂 It also obvious that my little camera needs some cleaning!
The black and white film has been my favorite by far but I’m such a black and white girl at heart. These images were shot using Kodak Tri-x 400 (the film grain is so lovely)!!! I did shoot a few Porta rolls of Lincoln too and I’ll share those next week!
