Baby Cruz | Highland, IL Newborn Photographer

“Time stands still best in moments that look suspiciously like ordinary life.” ~Brian Andreas

With every in-home session I photograph I fall more in love with shooting in people’s homes. I’m a big believer in photographing people in their own element/environment. My goal with each session is to show people how lovely the simple and mundane aspects of their life can be.

I’m thrilled to introduce Cruz to my blog. He is the brand new addition to one of the sweetest families in the world. I know he is welcomed into this world with an extraordinary amount of love and I can’t wait to photograph his entire family!

Frankie | Lifestyle Children Photographer

A few weeks ago I got to meet up with this little cutie. His smiles are perfect and I loved every second of his session. Frankie is six months old which is my favorite age to photograph babies.

Life with a one year old | In-home lifestyle photographer

I can’t believe a year has come and gone for little Miss Grace. This time last year the girls and I were literally counting down the days until we were able to meet her. I’m so thankful for so many things but since we are celebrating Grace’s first birthday I just want to say how thankful we are to be able to share in her childhood.

xoxo

It’s Christmastime | Personal

I can’t believe it’s already December. I love this month….even if I am turning another year older in a few days. I feel like it’s been forever since I last photographed my family and their everyday life. Forgetting my camera at home has been a trend I’ve been wanting to stop. Now that I think about it I haven’t picked up my camera outside of “work” in quite some time.

As I ran out the door this morning, on our way to eat breakfast with Santa, I found my self scrambling to grab my camera as I ran out the door. This isn’t everyday life for us but it is one of our yearly Christmas Traditions. It’s a tradition that I’m going to drag out as long as I can and when my girls are too old to eat breakfast with Santa I will grab a cup of coffee and look through these images of my sweet girls.

Baby Makes Three….almost | Edwardsville, IL Maternity Photographer

This couple’s due date is right around the corner. In just a few short weeks they will be welcoming their very first son into the world. Their lives are about to drastically change…in a good way, in an awesome way!! I’m thrilled they chose me to capture their pregnancy and I’m thrilled I will get to meet Preston once he makes his debut! I already know he is going to be one lucky baby boy with the best parents in the world!
