I’m so excited to share these photos of Abby and John. I’ve been anticipating their session since last November. We had originally planned to do an outdoor winter snow session, however, this past winter was freezing. Like, so cold your face immediately turned red when you walked outside. We then settled on a summer session which I’m super happy about. Abby and John are so much fun but I knew that going into their session because I’ve seen them at almost all of my weddings this summer

Abby and John- Thanks for a fun evening and a special thanks to Abby for braving the session without her sling. I hope your shoulder heals quickly!

You may remember TJ and Adrienne from their e-session a few months ago and if you don’t….meet TJ and Adrienne! I was completely thrilled when Adrienne asked me to photograph her wedding. I’ve known her for quite some time and she is my awesome hair stylist. She really is the most sweet and down-to-earth person in the world. Then there’s TJ. He is an awesome guy who is laid back and he is hilarious!

I love the way he looks at her, the way she smiles at him….the way he makes her laugh. It has been so much fun documenting this journey for them.

TJ and Adrienne- I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and laughter

My Little Monsters | Personal

My girls are growing up super fast…way faster than I ever imagined. I’m feeling a bit emotional with another school year quickly approaching.

Carlie is getting ready to start the first grade and currently “has four adult teeth” (that’s what she told the guy at the bank today). She talks ALL the time and is growing into a very “strong” girl. She loves to shop for clothes and change her clothes a gazillion times a day. I’ve already had to ban a few items of clothing that she is dying to have…I’m in trouble when the teen years come huh?! Her summer was filled gymnastics and she was super excited (I was nervous and scared) when she was able to do a few back handsprings without a spotter.

Aubri is starting preschool and just had her first dental exam (big deal right?!). Aubri talks all the time too (it must be a girl thing). She also likes to change her clothes a gazillion times a day. I blame Carlie. Aubri hates to shop and will turn into a little green monster in .5 seconds if you drag her along with you…especially when shopping for school supplies. She loves to sing, dance, and play her toy guitar. Aubri also LOVES LOVES country music.

So now I’m going to show off my sweet daughters, in all their kindness, in the video below. You don’t want to miss the last 20 seconds…it will be worth the wait and you’ll get to experience the maturity of a 7 yr old and a 3 yr old.

Look at this little girlie! She has the most adorable parents and she is the most adorable little girl. I feel really lucky that I was chosen to document this milestone in her life. One is such a fun age to photograph and then when it’s Evi, it makes it that much better! While I was photographing her I kept getting flashbacks of when Carlie was one. Seriously, I can remember it like it was yesterday….and now she is getting ready to start school as a First Grader. It makes me want to weep.

Even if you don’t hire someone to capture the 3,6, and 9 month milestones…please hire someone to capture this one. It IS something you will want to remember forever! It’s definitely an investment you won’t regret.

Okay, off my soapbox…enjoy the photos of this gorgeous girl!!!
