You may remember Katie and Cory from their engagement session last October. I’ve been looking forward to their wedding for quite some time and I’m thrilled to be showing it off today. Katie and Cory could not have had a more perfect day. They are one of the sweetest couples in the world and I am so lucky they chose me to document their wedding day. Everyone involved with their wedding was just a joy to be around.

Byrd Party of Nine | Illinois Lifestyle Photographer

Just a warning…this blog post is going to be very, very large! The Byrd’s are the largest family I’ve photographed to date and I think they totally deserve this ginormous post. This family has been extremely blessed with lots of love and lots of kiddos. Seven to be exact. I know a family of nine sounds huge but once they were all together their group didn’t seem large at all. I was super impressed with how well behaved, polite and kind all of the kiddos were. In fact, I’m thinking of sending my Carlie their way. Maybe they would be able to teach her how to share and play nice with her sister (only kidding…kinda).

How gorgeous is this couple!! Griffin and Abbey are another one of my fabulous couples getting married this year. The crazy midwest weather was in full effect for a very warm (92 degrees) session. Griffin and Abbey handled it perfect and were even willing to walk/down hills for me!

I can’t tell you how amazing this couple is…really…they are incredible. I squealed with delight when I found out Adrienne was expecting. You see, I’ve known Adrienne for what seems like forever. We worked together when I was in high school and she has been my amazing hair dresser for almost 8 years. I was also given the privilege to photograph their wedding a few summers ago. It’s been such an amazing experience being able watch Adrienne and TJ start their lives together and now I get to document the birth of their first daughter…life doesn’t get better than this. They are going to make amazing parents and I can’t wait to photograph it all! I love you both and I can’t wait to meet your little princess!!!

Chris + Jennifer | St. Louis Mo Wedding Photographer

Chris and Jennifer are such a great couple. When I first met them I knew their day was going to be incredibly special. They traveled to St. Louis from Joplin, MO to celebrate their love and say their “I Do’s” in front of their closest family and friends. I just knew Whitney and Tommy were going to have a fabulous wedding day. They are both laid back, fun, and are always laughing (see for yourself below). They are an amazing couple. Their wedding party was such an amazing group to work with and their wedding day was filled with lots of laughter. Meet Emily and Matt. I was lucky enough to have met Matt a few years ago during my first “out of college” job. I was thrilled when he contacted me about photographing his wedding and I was even more thrilled to meet Emily. From the first moment I met her I knew we were going to get along great! She is fun, talkative, and has a fabulous personality. Matt is a bit more reserved, organized, and just plain fun to be around. They make the perfect couple. I’m super lucky they picked me to photograph their wedding later this year. I absolutely adore them!

Susie and Eric are such a fun couple and were fabulous to photograph! The light and colors were crazy gorgeous the morning of their session. The one quality about them that I love the most is that they laugh….a lot…and at each other! And Susie’s hair….look at those gorgeous curls!!
